Shanyu is aged in Gisbelle's exclusive Carved Castle double casks, featuring Northeast China's peat and a unique aging process that imparts a soft yet rich maritime peat flavor.

The whisky presents an amber color with a rich, gentle smokiness on the nose, enveloping the senses without being overpowering.

On the palate, oceanic salty notes emerge, complemented by fresh oyster and citrus sweetness. As the whisky flows, a refreshing seaweed-like flavor appears, reminiscent of a gentle sea breeze, accompanied by a touch of rockiness. The finish is long, slightly spicy, with a light smoky aftertaste.
